Items cleared out of people's homes, garages and sheds were sold Saturday during the annual Chenoa Community Sale.
"We are blessed today to have some great weather for the sale," said Crystal Semmerling of the 4th of July Committee which organizes the sale.
Auctioneers helping out came from Bolen Auction Service and Harty Auction. A donation lot is featured along with the regular sale where the 4th of July Committee gets a percentage of the sales to help with the fireworks display.
"There's definitely something for everyone out here," noted Semmerling.
Those visiting the sale didn't go away hungry as the VFW had biscuits and gravy for breakfast while the Chenoa Women's Club had snacks and the firemen served their famous pork chops at lunch.
Volunteers serving on the 4th of July Committee now have a breather until the Road Rally which is set for the end of June followed by the big celebration in town on July 3-4.
