A portion of guardrail was damaged after a farm tractor became stuck on the Route 24 bridge just east of Chenoa late Tuesday afternoon.
The Chenoa Police Department responded to Route 24 and 2950 East Road at approximately 5:41 p.m. according to information provided to Chenoa News by Illinois State Police.
No injuries were reported and it remains unknown who owns or was operating the tractor which appeared to be hauling a manure pumper with a roll of hose. The operator eventually got the tractor out although bent rims and flat tires were observed.
The bridge is currently under construction with traffic down to one lane in that area with a fairly narrow width. Traffic on Route 24 was impacted during the incident.
