Those attending Saturday’s Chenoa Shop-N-Go Fall Fest were greeted by mild temperatures, plenty of food and children’s activities.

“We had over 50 vendors here today and it was an amazing turnout for the vendors and the car show,” said Dylan Cerda, one of the Shop-N-Go organizers.

The group raises money for kid activities in the area as a way to give back to the community. They have helped get a projector for city movie nights, provided candy for Halloween parties and assisted with the Chenoa gym Christmas exchange.

More information on the Shop-N-Go effort can be found on Facebook.

“If you want to get involved, definitely message the page,” added Cerda.

Bill and Sheri Ritchie brought their popular Monster Grilled Cheese and More food truck to Saturday’s event. It is the place to eat if you enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches. The hearty sandwiches include items like pulled pork, bacon and even meat loaf in addition to cheese.

“We’ll come back anytime. It has been awesome,” Bill said of his Chenoa experience.

“Everybody has been very friendly,” observed Sheri.

In addition to the vendors and car show, the Kids Zone included a bounce house and Kid Place trailer. Free giveaways were included with the car show as well.
