Obituary: West

Richard West, Bloomington, formerly LeRoy died June 3, 2025.

Visitation will be June 7, 2025 at LeRoy Christian Church from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service by Pastor Jeff Mayfield officiating.

Dick was born February 16, 1938 in Arrowsmith, son of Robert and Carabel Hendren West. He married Marcia Weber on June 8, 1958. She survives and four daughters Deborah (Dale) Gegg, Webster Groves, MO, Rebecca (Ted) Sullivan, Pontiac, Jennifer (Brian) Bland, Las Vegas, NV and Amy (Todd) Block, Magnolia TX, 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister in law, Mary West. He proceeded in death by sister, Donnabel West and two brothers, Ted and Mike West.

Dick was a 1956 graduate of Leroy High School. He managed Prairie Central Grain, Chenoa, for 30 years, retiring in 1998, a member of LeRoy Christian Church, avid bicyclist and golfer, a member of LeRoy Country Club and McLean County senior Golf Association.
