Loretta Maude Hodge, 88 of Chenoa, passed away at 3:04 am, Friday, December 24, 2021 at Liberty Village, Clinton.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a memorial service at 2 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 River of Life Outreach Church, Chenoa; with Pastor Timothy Moats officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Loretta M. Hodge.
Visitation with the family will be 1 to 2 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 prior to the service also at the church in Meadows. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Loretta was born April 16, 1933 in Knoxville, TN; the daughter of Marion and Thelma (Looney) McCoy. She married Robert D. Hodge on January 6, 1950 in Tennessee. Her husband, Robert preceded her in death May 1, 2020. Her parents, four brothers, five sisters, one son, Danny Hodge and one granddaughter, Rachel Fearnow also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Hodge of CA; Bob (Toni) Hodge of Kuna, ID; Yvonne (Michael) Jenkins of Flanagan; Rebecca (Mike) DeVoss of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Florence (Don) Chastain of MO; Melinda (Richard) Hatfield of East Peoria; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Loretta loved her Lord and Savior, with all her heart. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, going to church where she loved to sing and play the piano. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden and just being outdoors in his beautiful sanctuary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
