The investigation continues into a fatal crash which occurred Friday between Gridley and Chenoa, at Route 24 and McLean County Road 2480 East.
McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder reports Conner M. McHale, 29, of Normal was pronounced dead after the incident. McHale reportedly died from multiple blunt injuries due to a pickup truck and sport utility collision. Yoder indicates McHale was the driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck involved.
Toxicology testing is pending and Illinois State Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
