The streets of Chenoa will light up in early December during a Christmas light up parade.
Those in town can join in on the fun by decorating their vehicles with lights or just come to watch the fun. Santa will be a part of the festivities and the parade ends in the downtown area where the Chenoa VFW will light the pavilion and serve hot chocolate.
The Dec. 5 parade, which starts at 5:30 p.m., is open to various types of vehicles such as cars, golf carts and motorcycles. Businesses can even join in on the fun too. Organizers ask that no one throws candy from vehicles but people can walk the route and hand out candy.
Parade lineup is at 5 p.m. with a meeting location to be announced.
