Early morning rollover blocks I-55

Traffic on Interstate 55 was diverted off in Lexington and onto Route 66 early Thursday morning after a semi rollover near Chenoa that occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m.

State Police responded to northbound I-55 near milepost 183 in McLean County to a report of a rolled over truck tractor semi-trailer which came to a stop on its side, blocking lanes of traffic. Injuries were reported, although no details have been released by police.

A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the vehicle.
