The owner of Chenoa Locker was recently honored by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.
Terry Bittner, who also owns Bittner’s Meat Co., received the Outstanding Person in Agribusiness Award which recognizes a businessperson who has served to improve agriculture through civic and community activities.
Other awards presented during last week’s ceremony in Bloomington included McLean County Farmer of the Year which went to Dennis Wentworth of Wentworth Family Farms. Jean Payne, former president of the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association, was presented with the Outstanding Service to Agriculture Award.
