Residents of Chenoa and surrounding areas were impacted by two power outages Tuesday evening, meaning part of their Election Day was spent in the dark.
The first was reported around 5:40 p.m. and impacted 1200 customers in Chenoa, according to Ameren spokeswoman Marcelyn Love. Power was fully restored by 9:15 p.m. and the cause was weather related.
Another outage impacted 700 customers in Flanagan, Chenoa, Gridley and El Paso with serve restored just before 8 p.m. This was also weather related.
