A stolen vehicle out of Peoria crashed into a Chenoa house earlier this week and police are investigating.
Chenoa Police Chief Travis Cornwall reports an officer attempted to stop the vehicle for speeding on Route 24 just west of town around 3 a.m. Monday as the vehicle fled into Chenoa and the officer lost sight of it after it passed Routes 24 and 66 continuing east.
Authorities were then alerted to a vehicle that crashed into a house around 7:30 a.m. It was discovered to be unoccupied, there were no known injuries and the chief said there is no information to be released on a suspect at this time.
