The April Space Age Pioneers 4-H meeting had an Earth Day theme.
Guest Speaker Jeannea Shier demonstrated clothing repair and McKenzie Rosenberger spoke on recycling plastic bags into sleeping mats. Her family assisted with the demonstration. A completed sleeping mat was made by volunteers at the Fairbury United Methodist Church.
Bella Binkley and Allison Sewell talked about their recent trip to Washington D.C. with the National Ignite Youth Conference. They attended seminars on a variety of topics and toured national memorials and museums.
McLean County Fair Queen Allana Johnson was even in attendance at the recent Space Ag Pioneers meeting.
